Ask, Seek, Knock | 2024 NC Mens Retreat

Throughout the Gospels in the New Testament, Jesus models the importance of prayer. In fact, it was His frequent prayer that alerted the Disciples to the importance that prayer should have in their own lives. In Luke 11, we see the Disciples make a request of Jesus to teach them how to pray. This wasn’t a request based in theory but from the recognition of a practical need, as they sought the correct way to approach God in light of their relationship to Him through Jesus.

Just as the disciples recognized the importance that prayer should have in their lives, we should also recognize the call to prayer in our own lives.

But what is the right way to pray? What does it look like? And, how often should we be doing it?
The 2024 NC Men’s Retreat will seek to answer these questions with the goal of equipping men to lead lives rich in transformational, practical, and bold prayer.
